"She is what?!" Terence exclaimed, eyes wide open. He found it mind boggling that the sweet girl he had met just fifteen minutes ago wasn't innocent or naïve.
James let his right hand squeeze the wrist of his left hand, which pressed his gold Rolex down hard enough to cut into his skin. His mind screamed angrily at him for saying such a grave lie but he knew that the damage was done. All he could do was manage it now.
"Yes. Don't think too hard about it though, many modern girls are like that. You should just maintain a professional relationship with her, that's all."
Terence sighed and tossed his crushed coffee cup into the garbage can. "You really can't tell by looking at a girl anymore can you? Ah, anyway, I'll let you get back to work now. Ciao."
