Mae moves along the wall in a different direction. "I have it all mapped in my mind. This cannot go wrong again." She follows the wall to hit a rack. 


Mae turns around and runs her fingers through the front side of the rack. "These feel like slippers--it's a shoe rack! Which means, huh??"


"I'm outside the house?" Mae explores the rack a little more to find a set of batteries inside a shoe. "I'll take whatever is oddly placed." She closely follows the wall to the right of the shoe rack to find a door knob. She places her fingers around the knob and tries to twist it.


"Uh oh, it must be locked from the inside. Now where do I go in search of the keys?" Mae leans on the door to rest her aching back when the door opens and she almost collapses when a pair of arms stop her. She inhales the scent coming from the chest her head is resting on.
