"What a sad life," sighs Mae as she walks back to the library. "I wish things were as simple as meeting Ashton, falling in love and getting together. But they had to be different." She collects her books from the table and puts them back into place.


"Yeah, I'm done for the day. See you tomorrow."


Mae drives back home, thinking about Robin. "I miss him. I wish he comes back soon." Her phone rings, interrupting her thoughts. "Speak of the devil!" exclaims Mae as she puts Robin on speaker.


"Robin! I thought you'd never call! You left without informing me. I couldn't even send you off properly."


"I was a little pissed off, but that won't stop me from talking to you."


"Thank god! I was so worried to an extent that I thought you'd leave me."


"You can't get rid of me so soon, Mae," laughs Robin over the phone. "So, it sounds like you're driving?"


"Yeah, going back home from the library."
