Chapter 8: Disaster

Suyin stood opposite Anwyll. In her left hand was the [God Slaying Swordsmanship], and on her right was her ancient grade Dao sword.

She was already suspicious of the boy that her father had brought in. She became even more suspicious when he killed a very high realm assassin.

" Who are you, the real you?"

Anwyll was stumped. He knew he was in the wrong, but wasn't very proficient in mandarin enough to defend himself.

He slowly raised his left hand, which drew Suyin's attention. Anwyll quickly and carefully releases just enough fire, so that it would form Chinese characters.

Suyin still did not trust Anwyll. But she did not want any more bloodshed. That is a weird characteristic of hers.

Her fellow brothers were menacing and would kill anyone that had offended them. Whether it be friend or foe. But she in many ways did not display traits of demonic origins.

So was her swordsmanship, which was passed down from her mother. Her mother was an elder of the fallen Bloody Rose Maidens sect. Which used to be the 12th highest ranked sect, in which pure maidens were the only ones allowed to join.

But after their sect leader offended an upper being in the Quasi-Immortal cultivator realm, who descended down from the first Heavenly realm.

A hand descended from above the clouds and covered the sect in the darkness. Before crushing and killing many of the sect members.

Those who survived fled to other sects. Because the Bloody Rose Maidens disciples were so strong many sects took them in. Of course, not all sects treated them kindly.

Many of the disciples and elders of the Bloody Rose Maidens were either forced to give their bodies or to teach their swordsmanship to the sect.

But fortunately for Suyin's mother, she was saved by Wei Jian. But that's a story for another time.

Suyin couldn't trust this boy.

He could be a spy from other sects, or a loyal shit that her brothers had set up. Her emotions were in turmoil. She sheaths her sword and dashes out of the cave, leaving Anwyll behind.

Sitting down crossed-legged, I began to circulate my [Black Thunder] in my body. When the electricity touched my ripped muscles and damaged organs. I coughed up blood and laid splayed on the ground in pain.

When it returned, I accelerated myself southwest towards.

Upon arrival, in front of me, trees were split, wagon pieces were scattered everywhere, and unknown dead bodies lay cold drenched in their own blood.

Something definitely happened here.
