87. Saniya Lemiste And Abyss Appearance

Kosei had been trying to make the students in the Academy, get used to fighting and have a valuable experience.
He intends to make these students at least able to protect themselves from an average battle harden soldier or able to run away from normal Abyss creatures like gargoyles.
"Okay, let me ask you a question. What would you do if you encountered an opponent or an enemy and you felt that he or she is dangerous? it's just a hypothetical question so feel free to reply with what you normally do in that situation!" Kosei asked looking at the hundred or so students, looking at him with a pondering expression after hearing his question.
At first, he slightly felt uncomfortable by young and beautiful girls staring at him but he got used to it and now he enjoyed their attention. He would silently appreciate those students who are slightly well-developed in certain areas.
A minute later, a few students put their hands in the air and Kosei looked at the girls who were likely to have thought of some kind of answer.
He asked them to do that gesture, just after he held the first class, he was overwhelmed by their questions that day. He experiences firsthand what happens when you are in front of a lot of sparrows and you have only left a handful of grains on you. (A/N; Sparrows tend to do that if you throw the grains near them, they would make che..che..che...noice and fight each to peck the thrown grains.)
"Yes, a third student at the back row from the left corner. Yes...you, what was your name again!" Kosei called a girl which he noticed and found familiar so he asked her name to remember who she was.
"Ehh! Me, my name is Saniya...Saniya Lemiste!" The girl pointed herself and Kosei nodded his head in confirmation then the girl introduced herself.
Kosei hearing the name rang a bell of understanding in his mind as to why he found her familiar.
Saniya Lemiste is a very pitiful person in the anime, she was made an orphan in the civil war and her ending was also very tragic from what he could remember. He doesn't know how she is now but he hopes that she hadn't gone through that kind of suffering.
He felt a headache thinking how he should deal with this type of a person if she really had suffered from the anguish. He thought of many possible scenarios in his mind to solve this problem but he couldn't come up with anything solid so he left it at that and decided that he should confront her and try to ask about her situation before anything else.
He is not familiar with her so first he had to make her open up to him before he can ask her about her situation.
"So what's your answer to my earlier question?" Kosei asked and stooped thinking about unnecessary thoughts for now.
"I will...I would probe the enemy first and try to confirm if my enemy is really dangerous or not. Once it confirms that the enemy is in fact dangerous then I would call for the reinforcement and stall for time by using mental tactics or by using all kinds of tricks in my sleeve!" Saniya Lemiste's answer was a very smart one for typical situations but it doesn't always work or more like nothing always works.
"Hmmn! Good plan, Saniya Lemiste. You are right in your approach but always make sure you have a backup plan for retreat option!" Kosei praised her for her great thinking ability and also added something to remind everyone to always have a backup option.
Kosei went on to explain many scenarios and made them understand that the retreat option is not cowardly or anything but it can be also counted as your strength to get away alive in a dangerous situation.
His point was that a smart person who wants to have their skin safe then make sure you never collide head-on with your enemy or opponent. It doesn't matter if he or she looks weak or not.
He also empathized that if they ever get into a situation where they have to face multiple enemies then their only option would be to confuse or outsmart them and make a perfect chance to escape from their encirclement. Even if you have to sacrifice something like one of your limbs or a precious possession but don't ever hesitate to do so because it's much better to be alive than dead to be able to see the tomorrow.
"Okay, Girls! Pair up with your friend and start the sparing, I will see where you all need to make improvements." Kosei ended the lecture by seeing some girls getting bored listening to him.
He made the girls pair up and spar in teams of two so in this way, they would be able to learn how to cooperate with others in the middle of a fight if the need arise.
Just like that, an hour-long class came to an end. Kosei bade farewell to the girls and left for Drag-Rid Workshop.
Just like in the canon, Lisesharte Atismata is the manager of the Drag-Rid workshop, she is also known as Master Drag-Rid Engineer.
"Hmmn! You looked tired, Lisha-chan!" Kosei reached the workshop and saw that Lisha just finished working on a general-purpose Drag-Rid, and was sweating with a tired face.
Kosei softly wiped her sweat and asked her in worry while handing her fresh water to drink.
"Thanks, big brother! I am done for today, so let's just pack and leave!" Lisha-chan took the bottle and drank from it while thanking me.
After drinking her fill, she started to put the tools in an orderly manner in their place. Kosei helped her with that and once it was done, they closed the workshop and left for their dormitory.

On the second day, in the principal's office,
"Principle Relie, an emergency letter came and asked the academy to deploy the Chivalry Order!" A beautiful instructor said while handing the letter to frowning Relie Aingram.
"Abyss, how is this possible? Abyss should appear only if someone had disturbed the ruins but now they appeared on our border! What's exactly happening?" Relie Aingram looked at the letter with distress reading what was written on it.
The Abyss are monstrous creatures that originated from the ruins and are hostile towards humans. (A/N; For further information go to the wiki and read it from there)
The Abyss are very mysterious beasts, that possess great strength and special abilities. Even the normal Abyss is several times stronger than an average Drag-Rid.
"Ring the bell, and inform the Chivalry Order to get ready to be deployed! Also, make sure instructor Kosei-Kun knows about it and have him protect the girls." Relie Aingram put the letter down and massaged her head while ordering the instructor to a series of instructions while hoping in her mind that nothing unexpected happens.
"Yes, Principal Relie!" The instructor acknowledged her order and went outside to carry them out in a hurry.
"Ding...Ding...Ding...!!!"
The sound of the loud bell echoed around the Academy grounds, the senior students understood what this is about, calming down the first and second-year students who were panicking from restlessness.
