Chapter 13: Journey to a mysterious Island.

"Ray Pov"

"Woah!! Its… huge!!" I said as I looked at the massive air ship docked in-front of me. If I were to compare ourselves and the ship, I would say that, we are the ants who are staring the elephant.

I turned to Mr. Walt, our employer and said, "Mr Walt… You're rich… Ouch! What!?" I turned to the person who hit me, "Don't be rude. Manner yourself." Said Cale, who stood side by side with Ashu.

"Ha-ha, don't worry, I don't mid it. Well, to answer your question, yes, our family is particularly well of. It's all because of my grandfather, he was a travelling merchant, he would travel all over the world and buy all sort of merchandise to sell them all over the world." Said Mr Walt.

"You seem to admire your grandfather, by the way you speak about him?" Said Ashu.

"Oh! Yes, absolutely, you see, my dream is to visit all over the world once, before I die." Said Mr Walt.

With that, we climbed, the stairs to abord the ship, Cale, Ashu and I followed Mr Walt, with our heavy backpacks. They were so heavy that I asked Ashu, 'what the heck he put in these.'

He answered with just a one word, 'Essentials.' As we made our way at the deck, we were welcomed by a white afro haired, old man with a round glasses, rested at his nose, all dressed in black.

He gave us a thirty-degree formal silent bow, "Mr Frost, from now on these gentlemen here will be the ones who would be guarding us at our journey."

" Gentlemen, this here is our family butler, He who served my father, he is someone I think of as a family."

"Hello!" Said Ashu, as all three us gave a formal bow.

"Mr Frost, please treat these gentlemen as our guest and lead them to their quarters." Said Mr Walt.

"As you wish, my lord. Please come this way." Said Mr Frost. As he respectably gestured at us to follow him.

Before moving, Cale asked, "At what time we are leaving?"

"Now, probably, first I need to check if we have enough supplies for our travel, but max to max, I say by six in the evening, we would take off. Why, is there something you need?"

"No, just asking. Please can you tell us, are their any other people other than us on this ship?" Said Cale

"No, Mr Frost was the one who helped me escape my country, he knew my life was in danger so, he and I secretly took one of my family ships to escape at the middle of the night, we didn't who was on my side or who is on enemy side, so I had to be careful, that's why I didn't brought anyone with me." Said Mr Walt.

"Okay, one last question, if you don't mind, how much time would it take us to reach your country and what's the plan after that?"

"That's two questions, but I don't mind answering one of them, you see, for the first question, I would say, it would take us about 3 days, combining that we stop here and there to rest-stock our supplies. And the answer for your second question is, I thought about meeting with leader of the revolutionary army, directly to resolve any confusion we have without any bloodshed, you see what I hadn't told you before that, the leader of revolutionary army was once my childhood friend."

"Huh!? Then Why?" I asked.

"Misunderstandings, I was at my twenties, at that time, everything was good. Our country was flourishing, despite us having no ties with any of the superpowers, we were doing quite good for ourselves. Me and my childhood friend had a dream, building our country one of the greatest country, both economically and military. We dreamt that I would foresee our economics and ties with other forsaken countries. While he would foresee our military might."

"But… when everything was sailing good, tide turned for worse for us. We both turned thirty and created a name for ourselves around the country. We decided to create a political party, we named it 'The common men party.' Around that time, we heard a news that our prime-minster died in his cabin. The cause of death, his own brother. I don't know the true details but he was addicted to drugs. He was sentenced life imprisonment by the president and his family had left their post because of it."

"After the incident, a new prime mister was appointed name 'Crick Bash', at first, we thought he was honest man but it all façade, my childhood friend found out that he was the reason for the rapid increase in the consumption of malicious drugs all around our country. We tried uncover his true self and reveal to the country who he was. One day I don't know why but my friend left for few days telling he was needed to go somewhere. Few days later I heard the news that one of the city our country struck with a revolt caused by the its neighbouring Cities. And the man behind it was nonother than my childhood friend."

"I was shocked, I tried contacting him but no avail, he always pushed me away. I kept pushing him asking what happened but he did not even wanting to see me, few years after that the revolts grew and grew and I took matters on my hand, I was quite suspicious of our prime minister, I don't know why. I took the matter at own hands and started investigating after you all know. President resigned, me and the prime minster were the likely candidates and all, then me finding that prime minister had ties with Aria family. They found out on me and my investigation, so to silent me they attempted on few dirty tricks but failed. After few more attempts of that, Mr Frost too picked it up that my life is in danger. So, he took me and escape from it till we get some insurance and proofs to back us up fully." Said Mr Walt.

"That's all I have to ask, but there might be some other things that I may needed, so we need to know few more details but we can discuss those later after sometimes." Said Cale.

"I too have a request; would you mind hearing? You don't have to if you don't want to and I know guild have the policies, but would you remove those masks. I mean we will be working together from now on, so I at least needs to be careful around people whom I just met or don't know that well." Asked Mr walt politely.

"Sure, we can do that, I mean, we are, here to protect you." Said Ashu. Cale shocked by the Ashu's sudden statement, he turned to Ashu and looked reluctant but Cale respecting Ashu's decision, we gone with it.

All three of us removed our white mask that was provided to us by the guild.

"Now are more comfortable, sir?" Asked Ashu.

"Well, I'll be you all three are such a charmer under that mask, you shouldn't hide it." Said Mr Walt.

"Thankyou sir, now I think we should move and get some of stuff out." Said Ashu.

"Sure-Sure. We all be meeting at dinner, yes?" Asked Mr Walt.

We nodded and then turned to Mr Frost, so he led the way, all three us followed him with our heavy backpacks.

"Would you mind if I ask you something?" Asked Ashu.

"Sure sir, please ask away." Said Mr Frost without turning to us as he kept leading to our room.

"Mr walt, how's his family doing in this middle of crisis?" Asked Ashu.

"I mean his life is in danger obviously and on top of that he away from his family without any words or contact I presume. So, you know, what I'm asking." Said Ashu.

" … My lord I mean, Mr Walt, does not have any family to speak of, his father died when he was 22, his mother when he 5 because of the heart attack. The only person he had any attachment with is his childhood friend but he too left him." Said Mr Frost. By his voice, we could tell he was sad and feeling pity for his master fate.

"Then does he have any people around him he could trust, I mean if something were to happen, and I'm if, I mean we might be facing an army or at least more than one people. And we have only three people with us max to max five if we say that both of you guys can fight." Said Ashu.
