Departure

Like that, a week passed.

Alex spent far too long training the, surprisingly passionate, yukionna. He was honestly quite proud of her, now considering her a sort of disciple of his.

Alex had been planning to just teach her a little each day, but every time he would try to dismiss her, her eyes would change. Imagine a kuudere changing to a slightly pouty expression. It was honestly adorable.

As a high level cultivator, neither of them needed much sleep so, on a rather spur the moment decision, he decided to go crazy on teaching her.

Five nights in a row. That's the time they spent together, locked up in the training room. During that time, Yuki had broken through to Ninth level GM. She still couldn't beat him, but she could certainly hold her own better after that power up.

Yuki was a great successor for Alex's methods and techniques. Both of them were very flowy in their movements, and the ice only helped increase her slipperiness. Alex made sure to leave her with some lasting remarks and some practice material. With time, she would become a great sword dancer.

Yes, sword dancer. That's what Alex considered himself, although he actually didn't really acre for dancing himself. It's just that that was the best word to describe his movements, and it sounded cool, although it was perhaps a bit feminine for his taste.

When you think sword dancing, you think of a lithe, beautiful female. It was inevitable, but Alex decided to look past it.

Thinking he had done a good job, Alex stood at a secret entrance to the capital. He was leaving. It was time. He probably should have left earlier, but he got a little immersed in training.

Behind Alex, the king and Yuki stood, seeing him off. Yuki was there... well... you can guess why and the king was there with his hand on her shoulder to make sure she didn't ditch.

You can imagine. They spent five days together, getting closer. Even without his eyes, Alex was basically Yuki's master at this point and she would have a high level of respect for him. With the eyes, the respect compounded, turned into something along the lines of adoration, and became an obsession that she would never forget.

It started as just wanting to train with him, to learn from him. This was natural, he had bested her after all with a dazzling display of technique. However, what grew from that was wanting to touch him, to smell him, to be close to him. It was a desire that she could have rejected, and would have should she not have a good impression of him, but she had decided to embrace.

It was too a point where she had to stop herself from sneaking into his room to watch him sleep after the five day period was up and Alex had wanted to take a nap.

Yes. A new yandere was born, although she was still very much in control. She knew her obligations, and though she wanted to just cast everything aside and follow him, she had made a decision. She would get rid of the pesky obligations that plagued her first. Then she would fine him.

No matter where he was, she would find him. She just knew she would. She would use this newfound obsession to get stronger. Yuki knew he was looking for greater heights and she would follow him there.

Still, she was slightly trembling when Alex said his goodbyes. It was fortunate that the king was so much stronger than her.

Alex enjoyed his time. He wanted to stay a bit longer, but duty calls. Opportunity awaits. And the yanderes were coming. Thus, Alex turned to the broad outside world, gave a small smile and continued on his way, hoping for a smooth journey...

Yeah... five minutes later he gets attacked. Have fun.
