Sheng Ming and Ais exchanged glances and nodded. Next, Ais charged at Elvira. Seeing Ais coming for her, Elvira attacked with her arm. Since Ais strength had decreased because she was just using "Arielle" now, it became difficult for her dodge incoming attack.

FWISH!!!

However, in the next instant, many roots came out of the ground to stop that arm. Though they failed to stop it for so long, they still decreased the speed of the arm somewhat. It was more than enough time for Ais to jump on it and continued dashing towards the body.

As she was rushing forward, worms moved to grab her. Narrowing her eyes, Ais tried to dodge them while continuing moving. After dodging many worms, an arm stretched out and attacked Ais left arm.

BAM!!!

Ais: Kuh!!!

Ais grimaced in pain but continued moving. Finally, she reached the location where some clusters of red lights being emitted from the hearts could be seen. She raised her azure Lambent-Light and attacked.

SLASH!!!

And again.

She kept on slashing while receiving the blows from different sides. There were too many worms attacking her, but she kept on slashing. Many injuries appeared on her body, but she ignored them.

SLASH!!!

One last slash and the last worm protecting the hearts was killed. She could now see the hearts clearly. Currently, there were Eight hearts in front of her. Instead of destroying them, she jumped and moved towards the next location. As Elvira thought of protecting them again, many purplish-black balls appeared out of nowhere and destroyed them.

FWOOSH!!!

A Shadow of Misdreavus was seen before she disappeared again. While Ais was destroying the worms wall that was protecting the hearts, Misdreavus was gathering her power to create "Shadow Ball". Since she didn't have proper training yet, she must put her entire concentration on creating multiple "Shadow Balls" and aim them accurately.

SWOOSH!!!

Dodging another attack of the worms, Ais jumped on one of the roots, used it as a footing before reaching the next location. Currently, Ais was fully covered with wounds and her own blood. And she was not the only one. Sheng Ming who was on the ground also had the same condition.

While Ais was attacking Elvira at close proximity, Sheng Ming was doing it from the distance. She was both attacking, supporting, and defending herself. Yup, she was doing three things at the same time.

She was using her roots to attack the other places where the hearts were hidden. She was also using her roots to protecting Ais. Because of that Ais only received 50% of the attacks coming at her while others were intercepted by her roots. Lastly, she was also defending herself. Because Elvira realized what Sheng Ming was doing, she was also attacking her with her many worms' arms. As a result, many attacks still hit her. She was in a lot more pressure than Ais herself.

BAM!!!

Sheng Ming: *cough* *cough*

Another attack hit her, and she coughed blood before slapping and destroying it. Currently, she was using bare minimum amount of magic to heal herself.

'Sheng Ming: Just like Husband said. This is a very difficult battle. Things are becoming more difficult for us as time goes by. At the beginning, Elvira separated her worms to protect other hearts equally. But as we destroyed one section, the worms of those sections are then split and joined to other sections. This makes other sections more difficult to destroy.'

'Ais: Right now, Sister Sheng Ming and I could attack two sections simultaneously, but later we both must join just to destroy a single section. It will be very time-consuming, and the chances of us succumbing to our injuries are extremely high. We must think of some way.'

Both Sheng Ming and Ais had the same thoughts. Both their conditions were extremely severe. Because of the heavy injuries, they were losing a lot of their blood. They must find a way to end this soon before their bodies and minds give in.

This explosion suddenly attracted everyone's attention. They all saw a huge pillar of flame rise in the sky, far away. Even though it was some distance away, they could still feel the heat at their current location.

'Ais: What is that?'

'Sheng Ming: That direction. It must be where the Husband and Eldest Sister are right now. Just who are they fighting?'

'Ais: Looks like Lord and Eldest Sister fighting someone or something extremely strong. Because I can tell that thing could easily take care of Elvira here.'

However, this slight distraction was their biggest mistake.

Sheng Ming: ARGH!!!!

Elvira didn't let go of this opportunity and attacked. Ais was hit in front from point-blank range, and it threw her off the Elvira towards Sheng Ming. While Sheng Ming took a full blunt at her back and she was thrown towards Ais's direction. Because of their limited magic and injuries, they failed to stabilize themselves and collided with each other.

BANG!!!!!!!

Sheng Ming: Kuh!!

Ais: Guh!!!

As they were falling down, Elvira moved her arms and grabbed them.

Sheng Ming: Aa...a….h...

Ais: Ga...….h...…

Currently, they both barely had the strength to break free from Elvira's hold.

Elvira: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. DON'T YOU KNOW. IT'S NOT A GOOD THING TO BE DISTRACTED WHILE FIGHTING.

Sheng Ming and Ais didn't reply since they knew it was their negligence.

Elvira: I NEVER THOUGHT I WILL FIND ANOTHER BODY. THIS BODY IS NOT ONLY MORE BEAUTIFUL BUT ALSO MORE POWERFUL. WHAT A LUCK TO FIND TWO STRONG VESSELS.

Said Elvira while looking at Sheng Ming who was struggling to break free.

Elvira: DON'T WORRY. I WILL TAKE GOOD CARE OF THIS BODY. FOR NOW, DIE.

Elvira increased the strength of her hold and started to strangle them. The sound of their bones breaking resounding and more blood was coming out of their body.

The pain they were experiencing was too much, yet they were barely stopping themselves from screaming. However, blinded by her own victory, Elvira forgot that there's one more of her enemies here.

A brownish light charged at a blinding speed and destroyed both arms.

Elvira: WHAT!!!!!!!

Elvira became shocked as her arms fell.

BANG!!!

She hurriedly turned her gaze at the brownish light. The light disappeared and took a form.

Ais: M….Mis…dreav...us.

Said Ais while falling down with Sheng Ming.

THUD!!!!

Elvira: HOW DARE A MERE ANIMAL LIKE YOU INTERFERE?

Misdreavus was breathing heavily. Using "Power Gem" really took a heavy toll on her. Yet, she ignored Elvira intimidating words. Her eyes started glowing blue before she unleashed a huge psychic attack on Elvira.

Extrasensory.

BANG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Elvira: YOU!!!!!!!

Elvira flinched when she was hit by it. But Misdreavus was not done yet. She used her full power and released a barrage of "Shadow Balls" on Elvira.

FWOOSH!!!!

Being hit by "Shadow Ball" from all directions, Elvira had no choice but to defend herself. These attacks wouldn't have been able to do that much damage to Elvira if it was another time. But this time it was different. Elvira had put all of her defense or worms on protecting her hearts. Because of that the other parts of bodies were weak.

And because Elvira's "Shadow Ball" were attacking her entire body, bit by bit her body was falling apart. Now, it was Elvira's situation that turned grim. There was no point in protecting the heart if her body was destroyed.

Elvira: DAMN YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!

Elvira screamed and decided to do something else. She started changing the shape of her body. First, all the hearts moved at center before all the worms' made layers and layers of defense around it. Soon, a huge cocoon was formed. With this Elvira took absolute defense state. Now, no matter how much Misdreavus attacked with her "Shadow Balls", it won't work. Nevertheless, she didn't stop. Because Misdreavus knew once she did, Elvira will launch her onslaught.

FWOOSH!!!!

At this time, Sheng Ming put some strength into her broken and weak body to try to stand up. She looked at Misdreavus and narrowed her eyes.

Sheng Ming: Little Sister. Stop Misdreavus. Otherwise, she will die soon.

Ais: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
