Looking at deeply gash that split the city in two, the people on either side felt their leges weaken and fell on their butt.

Some weak ones even wet their paths as pungent liquid appeared underneath them.

This move of Ei's just now was enough for them to know that she was not joking. Making them sacred even more as they gulped nervously.

Ei didn't care about what they were feeling as her eyes swept over everyone single one of them.

No one dared to meet her eyes and lowered their heads.

The first one to collect her was Kujou Sara.

She hurriedly got back on one of knees and spoke.

Kujou Sara: By your command, Almighty Shogun.

She really wanted to correct the current image of Kujou clan in Almighty Shogun's eyes and showed her that Kujou Clan was still loyal to her. Hence, she stepped forward.

When one moved other followed.

So, one by one everyone replicated Kujou Sara action and said the same thing.

Well, its not like they had a choice in the first place.

Either they could decline and face the wrath of Raiden Shogun or agree and launched the attack on the resistance organization on Watatsumi Island.

Either way there will be casualties. However, if they accepted the later, they would have some possibility of surviving. So, they picked that one.

The Electro Archon, of course, saw through their thoughts. But she didn't care. Because she only cared about results.

Next, she turned and a pillar of thunder appeared.

By the time it disappeared, she was no longer there.

Seeing that, they all feel relieved and got up.

They knew that Shogun only gave them an hour to prepare. So, after exchanging glances, they hurriedly left.

Soon, the entire place got empty.

After giving the order to Inazumans, Ei returned to the peak of Mt. Yuogou and walked over to Primis side.

Ei: Even though they are ready, the problem is that we don't have any ships at the moment that can take them to Watatsumi Island.

Still, the former Tri-Commission knew the difficulty of this mission. Hence, they distributed some armours and weapons with the people to increase their chance of survival.

As people were wondering how they would reach Watatsumi Island, there was a loud sound.

Looking towards the direction of the sound, they saw the gate of Tenshukaku which led to the backward of tower opening.

Feeling surprised, they looked at each other before walking there.

They knew it was definitely the work of their God. So, they didn't show any suspicious.

Though, by the time they reached the other side, the gate behind them closed.

BANG!!!

The people got shocked seeing that their retreat path blocked.

So, they hurriedly ran towards it and started punching and shaking,

Civilian 1: Raiden Shogun, please open the gate! I forgot something back!

Civilian 2: Please open it, Almighty Shogun! I left my child behind in the house and want to see him one last again!

Civilian: 3: Raiden Shogun, please help! I need to take my medicine which I left in my shop!

Civilian 4: I beg you, Raiden Shogun! I want to pray in front of my parent's photo before going!

The people were shocked and hurriedly walked to the edge.

Kujou Sara looked at everything below with indifferent expression.

After a second or two she confirmed that except for one, everyone else were dead as the water around the dead ones turned red.

Kujou Sara: That's where we need to jump and we will be safe.

She said while looking at the people. By now, all of them were also looking at the bodies below.

Many of the weak ones even started vomiting on the spot. This was the second time, they had witnessed such scene.

First one was during the invasion. That time they had seen the bodies blasted into pieces. This scene made them remember it again and they started vomiting even more.

Kujou Sara ignored them and orders some soldiers to jumped down and reach the boats.

The soldiers agreed naturally and jumped down without any word.

Seeing that Kujou Sara nodded and turned to people.

Kujou Sara: Are you all going to jump on your own or you want me to throw you down?

Looking at her with fear, the people walked to the edged and started jumping one-by-one.

Primis, Ei, Makoto, and Yae Miko were looking at everything that was happening down below.

I know that even though the people listened Ei's order, many of them will still think of saving their lives the first thing if they will see an opportunity.

It won't be surprising if they even backstab some in order to escape. Hence, a thorough cleanup was required to prevent it from happening.

Hence, the first thing was "Prevention". To stop them from having any thought of escaping. So, the closing of the gate after they walked through do the trick. This put them on the edge.

Second was "Find". To separate the one who will betray, they must be put under a "do or die" situation. This was accomplished by making them think that the only path to reach the boat was by jumping down. As a result, the people who are more worried about their lives and have the attention of backstabbing and escaping, separated themselves from the rest of the group.

Third was the "elimination". Kujou Sara is the most loyal person of Raiden Shogun. Hence, seeing how people are standing against the Electro Archon, she will definitely take this as a treason and won't hesitate to eliminate them.

Fourth was "path and fear". When Kujou Sara used those people who want to stand against Raiden Shogun as dead bodies to check the dept of water, not only she succeeds in finding the safest spot to jump but also succeed in putting even greater fear the heart of people, letting them what will happen to them if they also have the same thought.

Fifth was "numb heart". The war is full of bloodshed. Hence, if the ordinary people see bodies for the first time, they will most likely faint on the spot. The best way is to make them witness it before the battle start. As a result, when they saw the bloodied scene again after the invasion, even though they vomit out, their heart started becoming numb to it. Even if its not enough, at least they won't faint in the middle of fight after seeing dead bodies.
