Chapter 34: Finding the Daughter

Tears welled up in Daisy Leigh's eyes, and she couldn't hold them back any longer. They streamed down her face.

The tears fell drop by drop onto the girl's hand, their heat making her heart seem to ache.

"Kiki, my Kiki, my Kiki, I finally found you!" Daisy broke down in tears, pulling Gigi Leigh into her arms.

She held her tightly, as if trying to protect her and fearing that her daughter would disappear the next second.

"Kiki, it's all Mom's fault, it's all because I didn't protect you..."

"This time, Mom won't lose you again. Can you forgive Mom?"

Tears flowed freely, blurring her vision, and her heart ached so much it seemed like it was getting harder to breathe.

"Ah... ah... ah..." Gigi lifted her hand and gently patted Daisy's back, comforting her.

How could she blame her mother?

She never expected that just stepping out of the house with her older sister would lead her into the hands of human traffickers.
