The cold voice fell into Rex Leanne's ears as if thunder were rolling and crackling.

He anxiously looked around to make sure no one had heard the words, and patted his chest with relief, "Carol, don't say things like that so casually."

If Mrs. Edwin or Mr. Edwin overheard, it would be terrible.

Caroline Edwin leaned her tongue against her teeth, with a shallow grin and a hint of laziness between her brows.

She walked upstairs, and a few minutes later came back down with a thin household registration booklet in her hand.

Throwing the booklet on the coffee table, "Rex, do you need to look at my family's household registration?"

"Huh?"

Rex Leanne was completely baffled, and opened the booklet without understanding.

He opened the booklet, saw the name of the household head, and his eyes widened in shock as he almost stumbled, his body barely maintaining balance.

"Head of household, Gordon Edwin? This... this..."
