Chapter 67: Touched a Little Hand

Caroline Edwin looked up.

She clearly saw that beneath the man's glasses, his eyes were dark and deep, with a slightly redder hue than usual, restrained yet somewhat indulgent, mysteriously sensual and alluring.

A sudden, unexpected heartbeat trembled in her chest.

"No one has really taught me," her voice carried a pitifully slight hint of coyness, a smile curving her lips, radiant like a sunflower in bloom.

Her gaze boldly swept up and down Blake Fuller, eyes filled with intriguing twinkles, "What, do you have a problem with that?"

Speaking, she lifted her hand to his shoulder and gave a light pat twice, "Director Fuller, even if you have a problem, you'll just have to keep it to yourself, won't you?"

She flicked her fingers, brushing off nonexistent dust from his shoulder.

Their distance was reduced, yet her eyes remained clear, not a trace of her thoughts being led astray by desire.

Blake grabbed Caroline's right hand and removed her face mask with his other hand.
