Chapter 65: The Decline of Moral Standards

Caroline Edwin and Rex Leanne passed through the first-floor hall.

The living room was empty, Joan Edwin and Virginia Daniel were nowhere to be found, and there was no telling where they went.

The two of them left the villa, Rex carrying the big and small bags, amusingly trotting to open the car door, "Carrie, get in the car. We're about to head to the airport."

He put the bags in the trunk, climbed into the driver's seat, and fastened his seatbelt.

His foot pressed down on the accelerator, stirring up dust as the car sped out of Heyday.

Despite being a typical SUV, he managed to drive it with the grandeur of a limited edition Porsche worth tens of millions.

Zooming through the streets, they arrived at the airport in high spirits.

A slightly soft and excited Rex suddenly felt a bit concerned and asked with a weak voice, "Carrie, was I driving too fast? Are you feeling unwell?"

Caroline lazily lifted her eyelids, "What kind of joke is this?"
