Chapter 113: Treating to a Meal

Milo Wallace smiled, his face radiant, "It's precisely because I've gotten better that I want to thank you."

He looked sincere as he took out a well-preserved piece of paper from his pocket.

"After following the prescription you wrote, my headaches and chest tightness have improved significantly."

"Oh, I remember now."

After his reminder, Stella Hilda slapped her forehead and recalled the prescription Caroline Edwin had given last time at the police station.

She looked admiringly at the tall, fit woman in front of her, "So it's really useful to listen and read the Compendium of Materia Medica."

She decided to buy the Compendium of Materia Medica to study it when she had a day off.

Milo Wallace gave her a disdainful look. "Aren't you thinking too much?"

Reading a book is useful, but not everyone can understand it.
