Chapter 115: Lowell Restaurant

Suddenly, Stella Hilda stopped in her tracks.

She looked in the direction of the stopped car, pointed her finger at it, and said with a complicated tone, "Maybe, perhaps... Miss Edwin was right when she said you imagine too much."

Following her gaze, Milo Wallace immediately stiffened and stopped walking.

"Am I seeing this right?"

He raised his hand, vigorously rubbing his eyes, suspecting that he might be hallucinating.

Stella Hilda extended her hand and pinched his arm forcefully. He winced in pain, "Ouch, do you know that hurts?"

She nodded, withdrew her hand, "Since you feel the pain, it proves that it's not an illusion."

Milo Wallace: "..."

He looked up at the sky, trying hard to suppress the anger welling up from his heart and rubbed the sore spot on his arm.

His arm ached faintly, and he guessed it would bruise. He didn't know what this woman had been eating all her life for her to be so strong.
