Chapter 269: The Rascal of the Perfume World

At night, the sky in River City twinkled with stars. A gentle breeze blew, relieving some of the heat.

Although it was a tad chilly, there were many mosquitoes at night. Even with the use of mosquito coils, not all of them could be killed.

The guests of the program group sat in the courtyard chatting about various topics, from small talks to business matters and so on.

Alison Morrison's problems had been temporarily resolved, her smile returned, and her temper was no longer as irritable as it was at the beginning.

"..."

Wendy Gilian was so bothered by the mosquitoes that her eyes uncontrollably landed on Caroline Edwin, who was sitting quite close to her.

There wasn't a single mosquito near her, nor a single mosquito bite on her arms.

Comparing the two of their situations, hers was tragically miserable.

She sniffed, smelling a refreshing scent on Caroline's body, then asked, "Carol, what kind of perfume are you wearing? The mosquitoes aren't biting you."
