Everyone was eating and laughing. After lunch, they sat for a while in the small courtyard of the Euphemia home before leaving.

Marjorie Euphemia had cleaned the bowls and chopsticks and stepped out of the kitchen just in time to see Marion Euphemia standing there, looking in the direction where everyone else was leaving from the door.
