Chapter 590: Concealing Evil and Harboring Foulness

A group of people came to a small inn, opened a room, and returned to the room under the puzzled gaze of the front desk staff.

The Gilberts' dislocated arms were boneset and recovered, then they were tied to chairs, unable to move their bodies.

As the drug effect waned, the disoriented Sophia Pickering regained her senses, looking at the bound couple with a bewildered expression.

She was both shocked and delighted, the corners of her eyes misting up with a thin layer of fog, and she sniffled and sobbed quietly.

Caroline Edwin checked the room, found no pinhole cameras, and snapped a barrier in the room so that no one outside could eavesdrop.

Then she and Blake Fuller took chairs and sat in front of the Gilberts.

"What... what do you need from us? We... we will do everything in our power to help."

Uncle Gilbert looked around, sitting in a strange environment with his body tied up, and felt a faint unease in his heart.

Would the police break in any second and take them away?
