Chapter 618: Taking Action in the Stormy Night

Blake Fuller held two bags in his hand, opened the door to the room, and unscrewed the cap of the disinfectant. After simply disinfecting himself, he went to take a shower and changed into a new set of clothes.

Caroline Edwin sat on the soft bed, watching the man walk out from the bathroom and playfully raised her eyebrows.

Her tone was teasing, "Since when has Director Fuller been a germaphobe?"

Blake wiped the water droplets from his hair with a towel in hand, walked toward her position in a pair of slippers.

He stopped about a dozen centimeters in front of her, leaning his body forward and bending down so that their eyes were leveled.

His mouth corners lifted slightly, "When your heart belongs to someone, you ought to keep yourself clean and decent."

The man's deep, magnetic voice rang in her ears, and he took off the gold-rimmed glasses he was wearing.

As she gazed into his eyes, she couldn't help but be drawn in, unable to resist the pull of their depths.
