Chapter 700: Forever Your Safe Harbor

The following morning.

Caroline Edwin awoke from her sleep, went for a run in her light workout clothes, returned to shower and change into clean clothes, and then headed downstairs for breakfast.

As she entered the living room, she saw a man dressed in a white shirt and black pants sitting on the couch, a wall covered with awards and banners hung behind him.

The man held a newspaper in his hand, black-framed glasses sat on the bridge of his nose, and he had an aura of melancholy around him, much like an artist engaged in creative work.

Caroline walked over and sat down on a single-person couch. Her hair was tied up in a bun, revealing her slim and elegant neck.

Her outfit was loose and casual, somewhat diminishing her sharp appearance, but her unreserved posture as she sat down instantly destroyed any resemblance to a genteel lady.

"Hmm."

Jerel Edwin put down the newspaper in his hand.
