Chapter 971: A Pillow Arrives with Drowsiness

Arrived at the First Central Hospital.

Ward on the 19th floor.

Caroline Edwin knocked on the door, pushed it open, and Moira Samir was holding a bowl of light rice porridge.

The ultra-thin TV hanging on the wall was showing a pilot flying an airplane, performing aerial maneuvers.

"Feeling any better?"

She walked over, opened a storage cabinet, took out a piece of fruit, washed it, and handed it over.

"Much better."

Moira Samir curved her lips into a smile, her gaze shifting calmly from the TV as she picked up the remote to change the channel to a youth soap opera.

"Hmm."

Caroline Edwin sat down, and the two randomly chatted about this and that.

As time passed, a few minutes later the door to the ward was knocked on again, and Michael Harris walked in with a thermos food container in his hand.

He carefully fed Aunt Freda, a warm atmosphere between the two, provided that one ignored the occasional dark undercurrents flashing in the man's eyes.
