The Capital.
A high-end card room.
In an elegantly decorated private room, several well-dressed ladies gathered to play cards.
They wore valuable jewelry around their necks and branded watches and diamond rings on their hands.
With all their glitter and glamour, they looked less like card players and more like attendees at a jewelry exhibition.
As they played, one of the women, dressed in a leopard print dress, seemed to casually bring up, "Ahem, Mrs. Jung, I heard your son is dating a movie star from the entertainment industry?"
"Actually, it's not that I think there's anything wrong with the entertainment industry, but that movie star, she's a divorcee with a child, and she's even older than your Chris..."
The lady prattled on, her words free of explicit profanity, but strung together in a way that was irksomely offensive.
