The car pulled up to a semi-detached duplex and came to a halt before Eva's mother realized Tony had been staring at her all along and she shyly peered at her fingers fondling with them.

"What?" that was an almost outburst. She asked when her beholder was making it seem there was more to his stares than normal.

"I never knew angels were closer to us than we thought," sounded Tony calmly and with the intent to make a woman much older than him, feel like baby.

She smiled cheek to cheek, unable to keep her gaze to his, even when she knew  what was about happening to her life again.
