An orphan girl lives with her parent's friends who died in a car accident living their son behind. 

'Drake' and 'Janice' started living together in the countryside and fall in love with each other.

Drake started working in his father's company, who was a scientist, 1 year before his death.
While working on a project, he also started working on its antidote with another scientist 'Carl'.

A mere tiny mistake puts Drake in a terrible upcoming future leaving Janice in Carl's hands.

Fortunately, Janice falls in love with Carl but in-denial she was lost between her feelings.

So, Drake became a zombie and ran from the institute since then Drake can't sleep and only feels hunger. He knows that if he was a real zombie he would be eating his friends around him but since he is not, he is hunting animals like rabbits for blood. Why he is not a proper zombie? Nobody knows. Why doesn't he live with Carl and Janice? Well.... he thinks that what if he attacked them out of nowhere? what if they got hurt because of him? He would never forgive himself. Why Cooper and everyone else are different from Drake? The answer lies in the lab. Does Drake understand zombies? Unfortunately, yes. Why Drake says that Janice treated him like a family? Since her parents died Janice been living with him. Janice parents died when she was 4 years old. Drake liked her from the very start when they first met but Janice had no feelings for him and he knew that. After Drake's parents died, Drake proposed her. Since she didn't know what actually love was, she said yes. But she was just the same. So, Drake accepted that she was not gonna love him like he does. But when he saw Janice and Carl together like that... it broke him into pieces. Which stopped him from what he was about to tell them.
