"The doctor said she's improving," Lai watched as Wen placed her iced americano on the table, "They said it's only a matter of time before she wakes up."

"That's a relief," Bai sighed, "Where are you now? Do you need me to come pick you up?"

"I'm at Ebony Cafe," Lai eyed Wen, who gave her a knowing smile.

"Is that your mafia boss?" Wen mouthed, earning a nod from Lai.

"You don't have to pick me up," Lai said to him, "I will be staying here longer. I will be back in the evening."

"For so long?" Bai widened his eyes, "Why?"

"I plan on hanging out with Wen," she told him, causing Wen's eyes to widen, "Since it's been a while."

"Wen is that woman whose family owns Yazhu Furnitures?" Bai asked, "I hope you two will not be drinking or eating any fried food."
