Previously: 

Bai watched her in shock and intrigue, his beer still unopened due to watching her entertaining action. She sighed, feeling satisfied. Smiling sheepishly, she closed her amber-coloured eyes.

"Oh! How I missed you!" she smiled at the beer can in her hand, holding it before her.

Bai then chuckled and covered his mouth. Lai looked at him, raising an eyebrow in confusion.

"W-why are you laughing?" she asked, tilting her head.

"Oh, it's nothing," he answered, shaking his head.

"No," Lai pouted, "You're laughing at me because of how I'm acting, right?"

He took his beer and averted his gaze.

"Look at that!" she pointed at him, "So you are laughing at me?"
