The Rifter: Child of Prophecy

A HoverCar was parked in a parking building not far from the academy, and inside of it was none other than Anna herself


She  had been waiting for Ryo for quite some time, and had grownrestless since Ryo still hadn't come. That was in spite of the fact that she sent him a dozen short messages and called him several times, and yet all of her messages and calls were left unread by Ryo.


'Tsk! He's taking too long!" Anna grumbled as she hit the steering wheel and leaned the back of her head against the seat. 'Should I leave him?Argh, I'll wait a couple minutes more.'


Fortunately, not long after, a man in a black hoodie got out of an elevator from the academy and walked towards Anna's car.


"Hey! Sorry, I'm late," said the young man as he knocked on the car window.


"A-A-!" Anna was very surprised that she nearly shouted. However, she suppressed her screams by covering her mouth when she saw Ryo's face, smiling wickedly while waving his hand.
