After a few times Ryo endured Ling's deadly strikes, Ryo finally understood the trick behind that fearsome attack. Ling's Dao Longsword looks like it was made from a single piece of metal, but in fact that strange sword was made from multiple jointed metals threaded by thin steel wires. Each whips let out thunderous claps that reverberated throughout the entire gymnasium.

As for Ryo who parried those whip-like attacks, he could feel his organs were being blasted due to the attack that surpassed the speed of sound.

He had to avoid direct hits at all cost if he didn't want his flesh lacerated into pieces.
