When the tentacle-like roots attacked them, Elena did not remain silent, she immediately threw a grenade and managed to dispel them temporarily.

"I will fend off these zombies, you beat that rotten creature, Ryo!" Elena said as she took out two blood swords from her palms.

Ryo nodded and gripped the hilt of his sword tighter, the fire energy on his sword became denser and burned brighter, even Ryo could feel the heat from the blade on his cheek.

"It's useless! You're not getting out of here alive!" shrieked Qliphoth, the rotten roots attacking Ryo and Elena, in rhythm with every swing of his hand.

Ryo didn't flinch and continued to advance forward, every root that attacked him was cut like soft butter and burned into charcoal flakes.
