Shyrlin's voice was soft but arrogant and full of power. She was like an omnipotent empress seated on her silver throne.
"I came here for the challenge." Liu Yang solemnly replied. He felt a great pressure in front of the woman.
"What challenge? It looks like you've already won the class challenge to receive the Dragon Knight powers. So you came for this?" Shyrlin already knew that Liu Yang won one of the challenges so the only reason he wants to show up is about Zedry's Bone Fragment.
A dark fragment in dragon tail strength was shown.
The tail material was the same as the two wings from before.
zzzz… zzzz…
The bone in the Shyrlin's hand and the tattoo on Liu Yang's chest resonated together as if they had some kind of connection.
"I see… It looks like it's really true that you managed to beat that idiot Eriad in his challenge. But don't think just because you passed his challenge, that you will pass my challenge." Shyrlin spoke in an arrogant, majestic tone.
Unlike Eriad, her challenge was something else.
"That guy in the other room said the same thing, but he was still defeated." Liu Yang casually retorted.
"He's just an idiot with only muscle and no brains. Don't compare me to someone like him."
"..." He just kept silent about those words and didn't dare comment.
"Let's put this conversation aside and get straight to the point. My challenge to you is simple. As long as you do what I want, I'll assume you've passed the challenge."
"Is this serious? Can each of you choose a different challenge?" Liu Yang was surprised about this scene.
"Yea. Don't compare us to those low-level creatures that are suppressed and forced by the system to follow the script. We're not as weak as they are." Shyrlin's words were arrogant enough, but they were true.
Only powerful beings like her, Eriad, or any other BOSS can ignore certain system rules and do what they want.
"What is the challenge?" Liu Yang wanted to know about it before deciding whether to accept it or not.
"The challenge is simple. We're going to play a little question or answer game. Each of us will ask a question and the other will have to answer." Shyrlin would try to find out some information about Liu Yang from this. She had to see if it was really worth giving him the item.
"Okay… Who will start?" Like Shyrlin, Liu Yang could also learn a few more things about the dragon race.
"Ladies first, right?"
Her hand waved and the pair appeared sitting on two chairs with a table in the middle.
"No problem. You can start"
"My question is, who are you?" Shyrlin asked as she stared into Liu Yang's eyes. She looked like an empress who knew everything and was just waiting for Liu Yang to reveal what she already knew.
"I'm Liu Yang, just an aspiring adventurer" He answered honestly.
"I see…" Shyrlin had no interest in knowing his name, but it was a good start.
"Now, it's my turn. Who are you?" He asked the same question.
"My name is Shyrlin, the Dragon Princess of the Jade Dragons" She introduced herself with a majestic and arrogant tone.
To be a princess, she had to be the daughter of someone very important and powerful.
"I see…" Liu Yang wasn't too surprised to hear these words because he already imagined something like that.
Shyrlin's aura was as majestic and noble as that of a princess.
"Now it's my turn. Do you have any ancestors of the dragon race?" That question was the key to her speculation.
"No. At least, not that I know of." Liu Yang didn't really know anything about his ancestors, but he had grandparents who were of other races like elves.
"I see…" She analyzed every change in facial expressions or any other changes that might have happened to Liu Yang's body when he heard the question, but nothing happened.
"It's my turn to ask. I would like to know more about dragons. That other guy told me about your race being stuck somewhere."
"That idiot shouldn't say such things to untrustworthy people. I can only say that we had some problems and were arrested, but I don't know what happened to our race. About the five dragons in that place, we're just following the script."
For very dangerous reasons, Shyrlin chose not to talk too much about this subject and left her to answer very vague.
"Now is my question. How did you get the dragon heart?" Shyrlin's two big bright eyes stared into Liu Yang's eyes as if she could find out everything about him.
That was one of the two questions she had in mind, one of the most important.
