INTO THE RIGHT TIMEZONE

I stumble back a few steps to get away from her anger. I cannot understand why strangers are so rude. The world is such a beautiful place. Why is everyone so unhappy?

Brent puts his arm around me to keep me from falling. I look up to him to find him staring the man down. Their eyes are locked on each other. Brent's mouth is pulled into a tight thin line. The man must see something in Brent because his lips are also pulled into a tight thin line. From what I can gather, the man also does not approve of us being here.

The old couple seems really angry. I look from the woman to the man and then back at Brent. I then turn back to the woman.

"Good day. I am afraid I do not know you. Your tone and anger are a bit uncalled for in my opinion." As I say these words the woman becomes angrier. She shakes her head as if she is going to start screaming at me. The man puts a hand on her shoulder.
