ITS A DATE

Tony finishes his milkshake and tells me goodbye, He has a bright smile on his face and he looks alive. I can't believe the difference this young female has made in his life in mere seconds. All that was needed was a bit of acknowledgement. He leaves and walks the cross the road. He puts his hands in his pockets and walks with a bit more confidence towards his home. When he is completely out of sight, Brent, Trent and Jake joints me at my table.

"Well, that wasn't the plan." Jake tells me.

"Yes, I know. It went a bit quicker than I thought. I didn't think that Tony would be so open-minded or that he would open up towards me this quickly." Jake acknowledges just that. He also thought it would take a bit more time.

"I thought we needed to soften him up." Jake tells me.
