Chapter 24
I woke up.
Still in the same cell.
Still in a lab type thing.
I got up and passed out hitting my head on the sink in my cell.
What was that?
I swam over to Lilly's cell.
She's on the floor and her head is bleeding.
I opened the cell and put her on her bed.
What happened?
I bandaged her up and waited for her to wake up.
I slowly started to wake up.
"How do you feel?"
"What happened?"
Lilly didn't respond to me.
"Lilly are you okay?"
"Yea I am good."
"I just can't see anything."
"Why is that?"
"You hit your head."
"I passed out."
"I don't know what happened after that."
"I really want to see it again."
"I want to see you again."
"I want to see myself again."
I want to cry but can't because I am in water.
"It's going to be okay."
I hugged her.
"Everything will be alright."
I watched as she closed her eyes and fell asleep.
"Feel better soon."
I kissed her forehead.
I swam out leaving the cell door open.
I trust that she won't go anywhere and I went back to work.
I woke up.
I can see again.
The cell door is open.
Lincoln must've left it open.
I swam out and hugged him.
"What's the hug for?"
"Thank you for everything."
"I can see again and you helped me through it all."
"Thank you."
"Your welcome."
I hugged her back.
All of a sudden she started to glow.
"What is happening to you?"
"You're glowing."
"What?"
I looked in a mirror that was behind me.
"Oh wow I am glowing."
"Cool."
I spun in a circle.
I started writing down what was happening to Lilly.
She started to get brighter.
"What is happening?"
The light stopped and Lilly was gone.
"Lilly?"
"I am still here."
I gave him another hug.
"Why can't I see."
"Really?"
"Cool."
So the light was to make me invisible
I concentrated and the light got brighter again.
"What are you doing?"
It got very bright and she was back from being invisible.
"That was so cool."
"I could totally swim away without you knowing."
"Yes that was cool."
I put her back in the cell that I have been keeping her in.
"Why are you putting me back in the cell?"
"I can't afford to lose you."
"Why?"
"I have so much time and I don't want my project to become a complete failure."
"A deal is a deal I wont try to escape."
I really would try to escape but he doesn't need to know that.
"Why are you doing this anyway?"
"I would tell you that I am evil but you and I know that I am not."
"The reason is because I want to rule the world with the powers you hold." "
"I could do anything I want."
"So you are evil just in a different way?"
I turned around and looked at the wall.
I wish I had a window to look out of.
She's mad at me.
I will leave her alone for a while.
"Dinner is ready Lilly."
I put her tray in the cell.
She didn't respond or move.
It looks like her color changed from bright to dark.
I should go write this down on my board.
Wish I could make it up to her but I know I can't.
Well it's getting dark out might as well go get some sleep.
"I stopped at Lilly's cell."
"Night."
I looked down and she never ate her dinner.
"Well night."
