The story goes back to the last few months when a meeting of Devan's family was held to discuss Devan's relationship with Martha because Devan's family considered Devan and Martha to be too close and could be considered as husband and wife.

On that occasion, Martha also admitted that she was pregnant with Devan's baby. After listening to Martha's story, even though they wanted to close or break Devan and Martha's relationship, their family couldn't.
