They left the building though the front door, not needing the secrecy the upper entrances offered. Due to the time of the day, the streets were far more empty than they were when they arrived the day before. However, people were still a common sight on the streets, especially compared to what they were used to.

Before they left, Marcus had made sure to grab two of the square coins and a handful of the rectangular coins from the pouch. He had no idea what the prices were like in the capital, but hoped that it would be enough for the day for the two of them.

Light was provided by the sun, although it was currently dim. At the end of the street they could see movement around the stalls, as merchants began to set up for the day ahead. As they headed down the street towards the stalls, they noticed a flickering flame atop a large spire, it's visibility enhanced by the lack of natural light.
