"Before you leave, did you see that other person in the crypt?" Veil asked.

Veil nodded. "Be careful. I sensed... something from him."

"I don't know how to describe it. It was unfamiliar to me."

"We saw him in the Temple of Flame too, if I'm not mistaken," Elanor said. "You think we're being followed?" she asked Marcus.

"I don't think so. It's a possibility, but who would follow us?"

"It does not matter who they are, if it even is more than just one person. That person seems different, carries an odd magic, like something I have never experienced. I must reiterate, be careful," Veil warned them.

Veil led them out of the small room and into the main entry hall of the crypt. As she emerged, she was surprised to see that the man had disappeared from the crypt.
