"So, the Gods punished you for an act you had not committed, and would only commit if the Gods took action against you for this future act? They kind of brought it upon themselves, then."

"So you understand?" the God asked, a hint of surprise and excitement in his voice.

"I can understand why you'd be angry at them, sure. What I don't get is why you're acting against my world. If your issue is with the Gods, why are you sending your forces against the people of my world? Why must they die for the petty disagreements of Gods?"

"You dare to call this matter petty?"

"It is petty. You still have your power, otherwise you would not be able to act in the way that you do. And, what's more, you have a place that you can call your own, one you can fashion to your own liking. For a God it should be enough, surely."
