- Return to Treiven

Shortly after the flying creatures hit the ground, the humanoid creatures quickly followed suit. Despite them supposedly having a strength against magic, the pure flame of sun magic was able to burn through them.

It was not easy, and the simple act of casting the two flames had almost driven him down to his knees. It was only his determination to not appear weak in the face of the enemy that had kept him from dropping. But the effort still clearly took a lot out of him. Sweat coated his face, and his heart hammered in his chest so violently that he was certain those around him could hear it. While most of his magic was usable as he was, it seemed he would need to grow stronger before he could use it.
