Fiona's plan

She said, "It feels good to let that out...either way. I figured my favorite Troll wouldn't stand with those idiots. You and Aggamotto's disciples always seemed wiser due to the time stone." She leaned back against the window as she spoke.

Gu yi said, "I'm not really, I just saw you as a variable and wanted to meet."

Fiona said, "And I give off a similar signature to the Shadows so, you had to check. I would've done the same thing if, I were in your shoes. I will have to talk to some people I know from the Metaverse...see if he can shed some light on this. I'd invite you but, It's dangerous for non-persona users to enter. Last time someone went in, they died and was found hanging from a telephone pole after the fog had cleared."

She looked up and saw Gu yi had gone and the two were looking at her oddly. She said, "What?"

Logan sniffed, "Why is there a new smell here and why'd it disappear suddenly?"

Fiona said, "An old friend came by to check on me...the old troll can be shy about certain things."

Bucky said, "Troll?" obviously not understanding the term.

Fi explained, "It means someone who likes to mess with people. As for the place I mentioned, it's not a place where normal people can go. Only those with my power can go in and even then, you're subject to the five tribes attacks and die."

Bucky asked, "Then how did you get your abilities? You weren't born with them right?"

Fiona said, "Of course not, my generation cast a ritual that we thought was for fortune telling... don't look at me like that, we were dumb kids in high school. Then when I fought against a group of ghouls that killed my brother and his friends, Yama came out and helped me...and no, I am not going to tell you about how to do it."

Steve, who overheard the last part of the conversation came in and said, "Your generation? There's more than you who has this power? where are they, can they help? Who's Yama?" He wanted to end Hydra and got ahead of himself.

Fiona frowned, "Sorry to burst your bubble Steve but, they can't leave my homeland. I was out traveling before my homeland closed its borders so, no can do. Besides, if I was at my peak, I could end this war but, I am not and I won't fight a fight that ain't mine. My duty is to stop more Shadows from coming in and starting an apocolypse; not fight some war that I have no interest in getting involved with."

Steve said, "Your content with watching people die? Does having that power make you like that?"

Fiona exhaled, "I may be able to take the form of Gods and use their power but, that doesn't mean I am one. I fight to protect humanity not get involved in a some war that has nothing to do with me. People die every day, this ain't new. I'll save those I can but, I am not someone with a savior complex. I'm not a hypocritical person...I know that quite a few people on the other side's army don't want to have this stupid war either. They do it cause they're soldiers and for fear for their family safety. The SS will either kill them or their families if they don't obey...most likely both."

The room went completely quiet as she finished her tirade. Logan said, "There is truth in that, Steve; the world isn't black and white. Besides, she is being realistic; no soldier likes war, war means your comrades and brothers die."

Fiona added, "I respect soldiers and those who fight to save peoples lives but, those who order stupid things that endangers you own citizens or comrades, that I look down on."

Steve exhaled, "I was naive to think that you'd help me stop this war and Hydra."

Fiona said, "Oh no, Hydra touched something they shouldn't have and I will help you destroy the research and close the dimensional tear they made. Fighting a war against an idiot who doesn't know that you shouldn't fight a war on two fronts, not so much. Now, I have to meditate to talk to connect with the bosses about this. So, I need ya to make sure, I don't move and that I'm protected while, I do so." The two nodded and she closed her eyes to meet with one of her contracts.
