Emily angrily folded her arms and impatiently tapped her foot on the tiled floor as she glared at the oblivious, shirtless man.

She cleared her throat and he finally looked up from his phone, "Yes?"

Emily narrowed her eyes accusingly, "Where is it?"

Blake sat up from the couch and placed his phone on the center table, "Where is what?"

"My pink lace underwear, you perv!" she accused through gritted teeth.

Blake gasped, "You actually own sexy underwear?"

Emily's arms fell to her side and she tightly clenched her fists, "Tell me where you hid my underwear and no one gets hurt."

Steve looked down at her hand then back at her face, "You're Emily's enemy, making you my enemy, why would I want to work with you?"

Hope was sure he would accept her proposal since he would be getting what he wanted with just a little help from her, but she was sure he would agree to work with her sooner or later.

"Fine then, you can just think about it for now. I'll be here when you've made up your mind."

Steve furrowed his brows and wondered, 'She'll be here, why would she be here? Does she live here now?'

He considered that maybe she was Blake's girlfriend and he's been sleeping with other women behind her back. Steve certainly wouldn't put it past him. But he was shocked Emily was actually allowing her to stay in the apartment.

Steve narrowed his eyes at Hope, he wasn't going to betray Emily by working with her. He folded his arms, "Don't waste your time, I've already made up my mind."
