CH.29 The Lotus Eaters Den And Siblings

"hey kids, you look tired you want to come in and sit down?" the doorman greeted us with a smile.

He smelled like flowers although I couldn't think of what flower he still smelled like it, after seeing that he wasn't a threat I and the group went inside and as soon as I step into the hotel I knew something was wrong.

I could feel it, a feeling of relaxation, a feeling of addiction trying to force itself into my brain, I could feel it but the others could not, they were distracted and entrance by the revelation of the lobby being filled with games.

From snack bars, trampolines, virtual reality, to working laser guns, the lobby was a child's dream come true, and every second that they started at it, Percy, Annabeth, and Grover were getting more entranced into a feeling of security, I, on the other hand, was fighting the felling trying to not let it take control of me.

"hey! Welcome to the lotus casino here's your room key" a bellhop said to us.

"um but" Percy tried to say.

"no, no," he said laughing.

"The bills are taken care of no extra charges no tips, just go on up to the top floor loom 4001, if you need anything like extra bubbles for the hot tub or skeet targets for the shooting range or just whatever, just call the front desk, here are you're lotus cards, they work in the restaurant and on all the games and rides" the bellhop with a smile and handed each of us a green credit card.

"how much is on here?" Percy asked.

"what do you mean," the bellhop asked with his eyebrows knit.

"I mean when does it count out of cash," Percy asked.

"oh, you making a joke hey that's cool enjoy your stay" the bellhop laughed and left.

After that, we went into an elevator that brought us our rooms, but I still fighting that feeling that was transforming my mind and soon I finally beat it and put up a shield so it wouldn't affect me anymore.

When I woke up I was in my room alone, which was a bad thing so I immediately went outside to try to look for Percy, as I was searching for them I could see the differently dressed people like they were of different times. The weird part of it all was how much like zombies they look, they look like they were having fun but their eyes were so hollow.

As I was searching I soon felt something weird, almost familiar, two dots resembling my divinity, I momentarily stop looking for Percy and the rest and went to see what this feeling was.

Soon I found what I was looking for and also why hades were acting the way he was when I said about Vegas.

A child with messy black hair, pale skin, and looked like a mini version of hades was playing with a Gameboy while sitting on a chair. As I got closer to him the more the feeling of familiarity felt and the more that I knew that this kid was my brother.

"Bianca," he said raising his head as I got closer to him.

"you're not Bianca," he said looking at me.

"no I'm Adrian, could you take me to Bianca I have something to her about," I said smiling and pushing my divinity to make him feel familiar to me.

"Okay," he said shrugging his shoulders after a while.

The kid took me to a teen about my age who look like a female version of hades, with the same dark hair, and olive pale skin.

"Nico what's wrong and who's this?" she asked.

"I'm your brother and you're coming with me," I said.

"what? And how exactly are you our brother" she said pulling Nico closer?

"I don't have time to explain but you can feel it can you the feeling of familiarity, I don't know why he put you in here but I need to get you out of here, so trust I won't hurt you, I just want to help," I said and smiled bring my hand up for her to grab.

She looked at me for a few seconds and then slowly stretched her hand to me and clasped it.

"okay this is going to probably sound weird but the only way for me to take you out is to stay somewhere, don't worry about it, just remain calm and ill talk to you if you're scared, remember I'm right next to you," I said and then without warning, I pulled them both to me and developed them into my shadow sending them into my inventory.

As soon as they were in my inventory I started looking for the Percy and the rest and soon I found them Percy was bouncing around in the trampoline park, I just tackled him and teleported him into my shadow.

Annabeth was playing a game, I tried to talk to her and make her leave but she just wouldn't listen so I just did the same thing to her as I did to Percy.

I did the same to Grover who was eating in a buffet, then I went into our room and took all our belongings, and headed towards the entrances.

"well now are you ready for platinum cards?" he said with a smile.

"no I'm leaving," I said and kept walking.

"Such a shame," he said sounding sad " we just added an entire floor of new games for platinum members," he said and held out a platinum member card.

"no I'm good" and I kept walking.

As I was walking towards the entrance the smell of flowers was getting stronger and the sound of games was getting louder but I paid it no mind and stepped out.

When I went outside I got a newspaper to see that two days where passed, I got us a hotel with the lotus casino credit card which somehow worked, and will come in handy for a long time.

In the hotel room I dumper Percy, Annabeth, and Grover who was passed out and sleeping whatever effects that were the lotus hotel or should I say the home of the lotus-eaters.

"That was close, I don't know what would happen if I did keep my sanity, now we need to head to the underworld, I have three packages for hades and he owns me an explanation," I said and waited for everybody to wake up.
