A SKILL CAPABLE OF DISTORTING THE SPACE AROUND AN OBJECT BY CONROLLING IT. IT IS THE SKILL USED BY THE TITAN ATLAS TO HOLD UP THE SKY WHEN HIS BODY REQUIRES REST IN HIS ETERNAL PUNISHMENT. AS AN EXTRA REWARD FROM TOWER FOR ACHIEVING AN UNACHIEVABLE FEAT, THIS SKILL HAS NO COOLDOWN OR REQUIREMENTS FOR ITS USAGE BESIDES THE USE OF MENTAL ENERGY.

A unique skill as my first active skill!..... It would seem that I had received a truly amazing reward but the most amazing fact about this skill was the fact that it was a growth type. The fact that it was labelled "growth type" meant that it was probably capable of increasing its rank. In videogames, there were special skills that if truly mastered were capable of continuous growth which meant that if I continuously used this skill, it was capable of evolving into a divine skill. The very thought of that made me laugh hysterically. To make things even better, the skill could be activated without the use of mana and also had no cooldown as an additional reward from the tower which meant that I could use this skill as much as I wanted which was amazing. I also viewed the information of the passive skill "Perseverance"

PERSEVERANCE (COMMON)

A SKILL GAINED BY BEING SUBJECTED THROUGH EXTREME PHYSICAL PAIN AND OVERCOMING IT. YOU ARE NOW ABLE TO MAKE MORE COOL-HEADED AND LOGICAL DECISIONS UNDER EXTREME PAIN. YOUR BODY'S RESISTANCE TO PAIN ALSO INCREASES.

The mastery of a skill increases the more the skill is used for example to increase the mastery of the telekinesis skill, I would have to often control objects with telekinesis. The perseverance skill is a skill that increases when I experience extreme pain and hence the fact that the perseverance skill's mastery is already at 36% must mean that the amount of pain I experienced yesterday was astronomical. But thanks to that, the mastery of my other skills had gone up as follows

I then opened the library section of the status window to find that numerous sub-sections had been added to it. I opened the beast subsection which expanded into a list containing the images and information of numerous beasts that seemed to never end no matter how far I scrolled down the status window. Next, I opened the Herb section which expanded into an endless list of images of numerous plants and their information. The other sub sections behaved in a similar mana.

"So, this is the information that I had paid half of my stats for…." I thought. This would definitely be extremely useful especially in this retched place in which I had no knowledge of neither plants nor monsters.

[So, you have finally realized my importance after so long, foolish Jack]

I looked around me in response to the voice I had heard only to find no one was around.

"Huh…..am I starting to hallucinate?" I thought in worry. "Is this a side effect of the Holy fire?"

[How rude!...I am not a hallucination!]

What!…. I was sure that I had heard the voice again however I couldn't sense anyone near me with my new high perception stat.

"Could this be a new dangerous monster?" I thought as I quickly withdrew two of the spikes from the inventory and held them in each hand in readiness to combat my new attacker.

[Calm down I am not your enemy. The voice you are hearing is me simply communicating to you through your mind]

"Who are you then?" I asked as I put the spikes back in my inventory. After all if it was a monster that was communicating through my mind, then I wasn't sure how far the monster was in terms of distance since the monster could be communicating with me over ten or even twenty miles away which would mean that my spikes would be useless until I found the body of the monster.

[I am the being that was transferred to you through the information circle when you purchased the information circle. In terms of human understanding, you could think of me as an artificial intelligence that exists in your status window that assists you by giving advice as well as information on objects and opportunities through the tower.]

Oh ….. so it was like the Siri artificial intelligence that existed in Apple iPhones except that it was more advanced or rather self-conscious, sort of like a human being. If it had been given to me by Hades, then that meant that it was meant to help me rather than harm me.

"Wait…you can read my thoughts?"

[Of course, you and I are connected through your mind and so I can read and see each and every one of your thoughts and memories similar to how you can view the status window in your mind]

"So essentially we are stuck together?"

[Yes]

"For how long?"

[Well...until death do we part I suppose]

"I see but why have you decided to talk to me now? I believe that I made the purchase of the information circle yesterday so you should have been able to talk to me yesterday and yet you were silent even as I was about to be killed by a monster 2 times the size of a buffalo"

[Ahh… sorry about the whole "you almost dying thing" but to answer your question, the information circle you bought from Hades yesterday contained too information and to top it off there was also my large consciousness in it as well. Hence in order for you to receive the contents from the circle safely, the contents were stored in your body as mana and was slowly uploaded into your status window.

It is the reason why you saw blue veins spreading up your arm when you touched the circle that day. I'm sure you received an update yesterday, right?]

"yes, I did receive the{map}section update but the map in the section didn't even have the name of this place and the library didn't have anything at all."

[That's because the all the contents of the circle hadn't been fully updated so you only received a little bit of the entire system but now that 24 hours have passed, all the contents of the magic circle have been uploaded to your system.]

I opened the map section on my status window in order to check whether what the artificial intelligence (A.I) was saying was actually true and to my surprise the map now had the name of this place, "Azaelon".
