Meets His Match

Carey stood in front of the mirror in Angie's room and looked at his appearance. He was dressed formally, in a dark suit and a matching tie. Feeling satisfied with how he looked, he combed his hair a little and put on his shining shoes, then looked at himself once again.

'I have to impress him and make him wet himself. If he talks to my dad, he should tell him that I am doing well and that I didn't really need him in my life,' he arrogantly thought to himself.

'You'll close this deal,' he assured himself.

He looked at the time on his watch and smacked his tongue. He was going to be late if he didn't leave soon.

He took big strides towards the drawer in the room where his small briefcase was lying on top and rushed out of the room. He half-ran down the stairs and walked into the dining room, where Angie was finishing her breakfast.

"You didn't set a place for me?"He asked in a shocked voice as he looked at Angie, who was getting up from her seat.
