The comments and the views kept on skyrocketing, and reading them, Karen felt mixed emotions build up within her. It was good that some people were supportive, but unfortunately, others were throwing the blame at the victim.

'You can't solely blame the man. The woman might have sexually provoked him, and she might have worn a provocative dress.'

'Maybe she tried blackmailing him, and he refused, so she's hitting back at him.'

Karen felt energy get drained from her body anytime she came across the negative comments, and her only way of feeling better about her decision was to look at Frank's photo on her phone wallpaper.

She heard a soft knock on the door, slowly raised her head to look who was there and saw that it was Val.
