Innocent, pretty, kind, and compassionate were the fitting descriptions for Karen Barger. She had been living her perfect life until it had begun to crumble at a time she least expected it. 

To seek comfort, she returns to Atlanta, her home, and unbeknownst to her, another piece of her world crumbles in New York.

Her Dumb Honour

Alice looked on in anger as Gabriel laughed his heart out.

"But," Gabriel said as he held his chin and looked up in thought." Just telling you that couldn't have made you walk out. You were so in love so what exactly happened?"

Alice sniffled then shut her eyes as she thought back to the altercation she had with Hayden and Maya.

She had thought her world had ended and she couldn't even believe that she had gathered the pieces of her broken heart and dusted herself up. But as they say, the pieces of a broken  heart can never fit perfectly as they did before.

" He has no respect for women. He fucking slept with a young woman  who is Angie's agemate. But that didn't do it for me," Alice sadly narrated.

Hayden had been pushed to the limit with both Alice and Maya shouting at him as if baying for his life.

Contrary to his belief,  it was evident that neither Alice nor Maya would fall for his words.
