CH/ 02

[ONE WEEK LATER]

My parents had decided to move out from the village to the big city, "The capital of Dragsa".

I must say it is a whole different place, full of building and classic people, here the people are formal and respectful since this is the city of the king, no one dares to cause a problem.

Standing before a two-story house, with a large garden, Max and his little brothers had their mouths wide open, the father said, "This your new house kids, make sure to enjoy every last bit of it", This is my new home, with the money my father had gathered in the old town, he managed to buy a house with five-bedroom, a kitchen, a large living room and a pool within it, he went all out.

Even though my father had gathered a lot of money the house was expensive, the money was not enough for the house.

[1 DAY LATER]

[DOOR BELL RANG]

Max hurried to the door and opened it, "Grandpa...", Max's Grandparents were just before the door, classic suit, fancy car, "Oh Max... my baby", Grandpa was hugging Max and holding him tightly, then the grandma kissed him.

Max's dad came running to his parents, "Dad... Mom... So happy to see you", Max's grandpa kicked him in the face and told him, "You good for nothing, how dare you let some punk hit your children, even if you don't do a thing about it, tell me their names I will burn down every last one of them", Max's dad stood down and answered, "Sighs... can't you do things more civilised, I don't want to get in no fights with the others and thanks for you we managed to get this house and avoided the school there".

"You are one lucky punk, you have a sweet wife and you have my grandchildren, I would have rather let you rotten there if it wasn't for the children and you mentioned school...", Said the grandpa as he took Max by his side, "...Then the school is it, I will visit the school and burn it down, I will make every single student suffer what my baby has suffered", Grandpa said while playing with Max's cheeks, "No grandpa, I would like to grow by myself and take on my revenge".

The grandpa laughed, "That's my grandson, he plans to take them by himself, haha... unlike the punk there on the ground, let's go to your room Max, show it to me", they went past Max's dad, he asked his mother, "Mother what was wrong with you choosing him, couldn't you pick anyone with more human", the grandpa looked down at him with an angry expression, "What ma... did I say something wrong?", The grandma kicked him in the face too and went past, "Oh my sweet daughter, how are you?", Said the grandma to his daughter-in-law, "I am fine mother, how have you been, please let's go and sit down, would you like black tea or coffee?", the grandma answered, "I want Coffe please and no sugar".

Max's dad laying on the floor, "Chester son of Audrey, what has happened to you, ever since I got married no one likes me anymore, did I lose what was important to me and passed it to my children", drops of drools were coming on Max's face, he opened his eyes to see his youngest child, "Chad, the hell is wrong with you", Chester stood up and burst out of anger at his son for drooling on him, "You little-".

Before he finishes his word, Chad the 6 years old had run towards his grandma and called for her help, the grandma threw her shoe at Chester and knocked him on the ground, "Just wait till she leaves, you piece of work", Said Chester angrily as he laid on the ground.

[MAX'S ROOM]

Max and his grandpa Audrey opened the door to his room and Saw the middle child, standing on the opened window, the flow of wind was waving towards him, "King, my grandson, haha... that's it rule over the wind and commands them, I named you "king" because you were worthy in my eyes, you kicked your dad when you were born, haha... the act of a king".

King jumped off the window and hugged his grandpa, "Grandpa...", "Oh my child, don't worry, I am here, from now on we will be close to each other, haha...".

"Let's sit down my children, I have something to tell you", Said Audrey with a serious expression.

"Audrey Hartman, the general of the king, the man who conquered the world 50 years ago in his youth".

[A STORY OF THE PAST]

In the time of the 30th king, the world was in chaos, nuclear wars were all over the world, even though this world has one king and one nation, there were still clans and they opposed the king to fight for the throne and the hero Audrey Bellwitz the right-hand man of the last king, with his intelligence and knowledge, managed to conquer the world back with an army of trillion against trillions of men.

Thus he got the nickname, "Audrey the king of the battlefield", any war or fight he participated in, he was the Victor, he has bestowed the highest honour among the humans of this world.

[PRESENT]

"Max, how much do you know about the supernatural world", Asked Audrey to his grandchild, King was listening to them too, "You mean the myth, around one thousand years ago the 18th king of the throne sealed away the mana of our world because a bad entity was going to be born and give his power to another entity who is eviler than him, or something like that".

"It is correct but it is not a myth but rather a fact, in five months from now, the seal will be weakened and the 31st king will let the sealed power out in the world, he doesn't care about the consequences of a world with supernatural powers in the hand of humans, you, me and everybody else will be gaining an infinite amount of mana", "Grandpa, I don't know but you are starting to kinda sound crazy, I-", "Watch your tongue boy, I do not waste his time for nonsense, you are my blood and so I tell you the secrets the world holds and that soon will be exposed".

Both kids were shocked, Chester was behind the door listening, "Max do you remember the language, I taught you when you were a kid?", with a nervous sound, "Yes... I do", "Great", Audrey brings out a book and gives it to Max, "This book holds an infinite number of pages", "What??? Infinite you are joking right, because the weight is-", "It is weightless for the time being, but soon when the mana returns to the world no one will be able to lift this book around, learn all that you can until the mana returns and then throw the book away on the 30th December in the ocean or a lake, because the weight will crush you when the time comes, only water can hold it".

Audrey said something unimaginable weird, seeing his grandchildren with these faces, he asked, "So will you learn or will you not, depending on your answer I will see how much you are seeing me be worth, am I a trustworthy grandpa or a crazy grandpa?".

Outside the door, Chester was standing and thinking, "What will be your answer my son, I long ago called him a liar and rejected him, will you be my son or his grandson?".

Max stood up and put the book on his bookshelf and said, "I trust my grandpa but I don't like to disobey my father, he told me long ago to not speak, read or write the language you taught me, so with all due respect, I mean no wrong to you and will consider giving you my answer after a conversation with my dad", "Brother is kind and gentle, if it was me, I would have accepted and looked for a way to fly with Magic, hooray, flying is so cool", thought the 7 years of age, King.

Outside the door, Chester smiled and walked away, "Thank God", Audrey stood up and walked out the door, before closing the door he told King, "Be like your elder brother and know your worth", closing the door he went down the stairs and saw Chester holding a glass of water for his father, Audrey took it and said, "Chester my son, all I have done in my life was for you and my grandkids, I mean nothing but protection for you, thanks for the water".

"I know father", Said Chester with a smile.

[LATER IN THE EVENING]

The grandparents were about to leave, Audrey was hugging his grandsons and was crying altogether, Max's mom said to the kids, "It's not like they will leave forever, kids", then grandma said, "Let the boys have their times, time is precious for the boys, they spend every single second of it thinking about the future for their offsprings", "You are not wrong but we women do think about their futures too", "I didn't say we don't, my girl", "Well, yeah", smiled.

The grandparents walked to their fancy car, their driver opened the doors for them, with tears they were waving goodbyes at them, "I will make sure to come every day and bring you a lot of food so you can grow strong like me", Screamed Audrey, Chester answered, "You don't need to come by every day, I am feeding them well".

They entered the car and Chester looked at Chad, Chad looked back at him and saw the dark energy revolving around his dad and got scared, "You piece of work, your armours are leaving you, you dare to drool on me and get my mother to hit me with her shoe, I will make you regret every second you enjoyed being whilst protected by her", Audrey rolled down the window and screamed at Chester, "Don't you dare to lay a hand on him, I will kick your ass", "Just go already, you old fart", Said Chester to his dad.

"I will be sure to see you soon", "Drive home", Max's family all together discharged the family, the driver drove a couple of meters and they got out of the car and entered the house next to them.

Chester got shocked and screamed, "What...", Chad laughed at his dad with the others and Max said to himself, "That's my family".
