Both Jesper and Torsten threw their wands and screamed, "Magic Zone activate", now they could cast spells without using a wand. The king was surprised, "Their Mana is equal".

Jesper spun around and turned to get punched in the face, but with his boosted physical strength, he stood in his place and from his palm a great wind burst, which pushed Torsten into the walls.

"Nice... now get on your knees", Said Torsten as he got up and cast a gravity spell, which made Jesper kneel, "Spells that go against the laws were Forbidden, wasn't that what you had told me always", Said Jesper.

Torsten answered, "That was the time when we were in school, the situation is different now, you are free to do as you wish", Jesper smiled and beneath turned to darkness which devoured Torsten's mana and made him surprised.

Jesper's body got covered by darkness, "Dark lightning, ultimate speed", Jesper was moving so fast, no one in the crowd could see him, making perfect after images of himself just by moving back and forth.

"This spell was the wrong one to choose, you will get tired very soon, you should have done something like enhancing your feet, such a waste of Mana", Said Torsten to the after images of Jesper.

"Then do it yourself and come after me", Said Jesper, thinking, Torsten, "What is his goal here, he isn't just showing off, does he want me to fall into his trap, he is not that clever or is he?", Torsten, tried moving a step further, before his foot landed, it was cut off, the terror expression was on him.

"Blood loss will lead to death", whispered Jesper in Torsten's ear, without flinching or worrying, Torsten closed his eyes and made his foot Regenerate, then smiled, "Haha... I got it back, I thought it would be harder, now let's go to the next level".

Torsten, like a crazy man smiled and managed to match Jesper's speed, "How did you do that, you can't use my spell, I have never taught it to anyone-", Said Jesper with a shocked face.

Torsten who also created after images of himself then attacked Jesper, they were fighting so fast each afterimage was fighting with the other afterimage.

The crowd was amazed, it was not just amazing but how did Torsten manage to get on his level of speed with Enhancement, the king saw Relik was surprised too, so he told him, "You are a teacher, Relik", it was sudden for Relik but he answered, "Yes, my king".

"So what do you think about Torsten, how did he manage to match the speed of black lightning?", Asked the king, Relik with a wondrous expression said, "Well my theory is, he had saved up a lot of mana in the wand and managed to hide its presence with stealth spell and now that he requires it, he starts to use it".

The king laughed and said, "Nice, I guess you are worthy of your title...", Relik smiled and said, "I am humbled, sir-", "I was kidding, you are trash who doesn't know a thing, no one can store this much mana and hide it with stealth, the kid stole the mana from his opponent", Stated the king.

Relik was in a rage but didn't show the expression, "How so? Why can't we see him then?".

"The Magic zones were unleashed at the same time, the larger magic zone devours the smaller one, slowly he is stealing the mana and the other kid is getting slower too, don't you see", Relik heard the king and looked at Jesper, he had gotten slower.

Torsten saw an opening and managed to kick Jesper in the stomach, "It seems you are wide open", "How... what the hell just happened, is he getting faster by the second or is it me who is getting slow", Said Jesper as he leaned on the wall and fell, he coughed blood.

"What happened Mr Black Lightning, I can see it within your eyes, you have given up, the lively eyes, which ones knew of no threat, now fears the one he ignored, open your eyes to reality, what can you change with this pathetic output of yours, you haven't even dealt a strong damage like me, I have nearly killed you right now", Said Torsten.

Lina Rigmor, was terrified, "You can't die, Jesper, stand up please, fight for our love and kill that man, I know you like to hide your feelings but you are holding back, because he is the only man you have seen as a friend, you have always talked about Torsten we were together but he is no longer the same friend, he doesn't see what you see, so fight", Screamed Lina.

"Oh my... is she telling the truth, the emotionless punk saw me as his friend, let me just tell you once again, I never saw you as a friend".

Jesper laughed, shocking everyone, he scooped his right eye, blood came out and his eye was on his hand-palm, Torsten got worried as he felt his aura changed and his mana overcame him, "The balance has finally shifted between the two", Said the king, sitting and smiling on his throne, looking down at them.

"Torsten, I will kill you, you son of bxtch, I will send you to your dead father, mana gather, use my blood as a shield I offer, come alive and destroy my enemy", Screamed Jesper.

Torsten heard, his father was insulted, "You dare to mention my father...", Mana was gathering and powering up Torsten, "...I will send you to the deepest hell and destroy you, I will use my trump card against you, you bastard".

The blood around Jesper made him float in the air and it turned to a giant body of armour, the armour had his palm pointed against Torsten and lightning, dark lightning was gathering in a circle form, "Let's see if my trump card will win or yours Mr Dead father, will you kill me, just so you know, I already knew everything about, even more than you think and I didn't get it from your sister but your mother and father too", Screamed Jesper.

"My father, don't mention his name ever again, I will destroy you, I will erase you from existence, nothing of you will remain, you lifeless shxt, you sacrificed your eye for mana but I didn't, you will never live to seek out revenge against the system, die by the hands of the system, I am the system", Screamed Torsten, he had the dream of his father to create a better system than the current one, he is a better version of the system.

Darkness was gathering in the form of a ball before Torsten, the crowd was scared, their mana was equal, "Their Mana is enough to destroy the world, haha... you are worthy slaves... fight and live for me", Screamed the king as he stood up.

Jesper looked at him with his left eye and showed the king his middle finger, Jesper and Torsten shot their beam of magic, "Magic of Heaven: Dark Lightning", Said Jesper, "Magic of the worlds: The blackhole-moon".

Their clash was so strong, earthquakes occurred all over the world, even in space, their clash didn't just meet at a single point, it broke the barrier and rose out to space, there they met once again and the king watched it with his eyes, "Marvellous".

The clash was so powerful it made the whole moon and earth shake, the wind was enough to destroy cities and ruin billions of lives, the king was laughing, but the consequences were too much for the world to pay, the king clenched his fists and neutralised the spell, thus shutting it off and save the world from extinction.

"Marvellous, you kids are something else, show me more, show me more of what you have to offer", Screamed the king as he looked down on the dust and smoke beneath him in the stadium, everyone was scared except for him.

Lina Rigmor had tears in her eyes, "Jesper...", she ran down and headed towards Jesper, Jesper's skin had turned into ashes, he was standing but burned alive, Lina was crying and calling out his name, as she got closer the earth devoured him slowly and the chairman announced, "The winner for this round is Torsten Helmfrid".

The crowd didn't applause except for the king, they too also slowly clapped with him, "The King is powerful", "He dispelled that great threat", "I know let's applause or we will be dead too", "His power was 100 times greater than anything I have seen".

Lina couldn't reach Jesper and saw him being devoured, she collapsed in despair, "Why...", she heard everyone applauding, "He is dead, what is there to cheer for, what has happened to this world, Jesper, you dare die and leave me alone... I will kill...", her eyes went white and enraged, "I will kill him...".

Lina's wand appeared and it turned to a sharp-pointed stick, she ran towards Torsten, "I will kill you... how could... if it wasn't for him, no one in this school would've accepted you...".

Torsten had lost his left arm and both eyes blind, all the consequences of the blast, Lina Pierced through his chest, he coughed blood and Lina said, "Don't you remember when everyone hated you, even though you were strong and smart, no one gave a damn about you, you couldn't go out and have fun, you had no one to train with and talk, one day Jesper saw you alone and he told me that you were lonely... I remember it as clearly as today, he talked to the teachers to put him with you...".

Leaned on the wall by Lina, Torsten had no expression but pain on his face, Lina continued, "...He told me", the voice of Jesper played in Torsten's mind, "I hate the system, that makes people like him an outcast and lending a hand to someone is always a good start to change these laws of the system, the Rich and the talented shouldn't not abuse the poor and the weak, life is not just one day, in the span of life, people could take the wrong direction", Lina said to Jesper, "Jesper, in the outside you appear tough and bad but from within, you are kind-hearted and gentle, I love you".

Lina cried and pushed Torsten to the wall, "What do you have to say... huh Torsten... he wanted to save you all this time", Torsten screamed back at her with pain and bloody tears, "I have known all along... I knew that... you think it was easy for me to do this if I hadn't taken his life, you think he would have survived, in the next rounds they would have killed him, we are the weakest of the candidates, I saw with my vision, we were all gonna die, no one will be saved except for the winner and the winner is not one of us...", Torsten took Lina in the arm and said, "...Before we fought here, I told Jesper, fate has it, that we fight and die before we came to this fight, I killed my mother and sister, so did Jesper to his remaining family...".

Lina Rigmor was shocked and was stunned, "What do you mean... kill? Why did you kill you families", The blind Torsten was about to answer, when he tried to speak, he found himself to be muted, the voice wasn't coming out, he heard a voice.

"A magic spell that let you see the future, I guess you are no fun, after all, you had the power and will to reject this tournament but you still chose what you saw, people like you is who I hate, however you have my respect Torsten son of Helmfrid", Said the king and pierced through Lina's heart then Torsten's heart.

"Rest in peace".

The world resumed once again and the crowd saw, both collapsed on the ground, both on their stomach, the earth devoured them and the king said, "Let the next round begin".

Max who was chained by the walls, saw the king killing them, hatred was filled within his eyes, he tried to call his wand and failed, the chains were sealing any mana that he was gathering.
