Alex was a bit excited since it had been years since he had any info or clues about what happened in the war.
He then decided to do a deal with Thanos.
"I have a deal. If I win, you give me information, and if you win, I can give you an explanation as to why I am still alive. "
Without hesitating, Thanos said.
"I accept."
They then glared at each other for a few seconds, but that felt like hours to them. Then, Thanos made the first move without holding back.
A black hole formed and charged toward Alex.
He thought, 'Going all out from the start, OK, then I'm all for this too."
He then cocked his arm back and punched it as hard as he could. Which seemed stupid because it was theoretically nearly impossible to destroy a black hole with pure strength, but when the punch hit, the black hole's energy simply vanished upon contact with the punch.
When he finished punching, the black hole vanished, leaving only a few shockwaves that dissipated all of the clouds in sight.
Thanos, unsurprised, said
"As powerful as ever, I see"
Then Thanos disappeared and could be heard behind Alex. Alex thought, 'Stop time, what a painful ability.'
"Stop boasting about your stop time abilities. They are an insult to my speed"
"And what if I don't?" said Thanos.
"Then you are already dead."
Before Thanos could react, he was lying unconscious on the floor. "The first to go for a kill shot wins in this scenario."
—Alex's friend's point of view—
After the battle between legends, silence fell on the now waste land surrounding them.
Even with all the destruction, there remained a few safe spots that survived because of the fight being short.
In one of those spots, Alex's friend lied, confused about what he knew and what happened.
After a twenty-minute long silence, Alex came back, but while carrying an unconscious thanos.
Even after being so shaken, he managed to say
"Alex? "
