In a messy room, there was a boy.
"I see… this new album is just so great!"
He could be called a strange boy. Some people would call him; loser, an e𝘹𝘤𝘭𝘶𝘥𝘦𝘥 person.
This boy was listening to music.
And this boy's name was Suzuki Ren.
He had normal short black hair with no bangs and an acceptable height for his age. The only thing different was the athletic body he had built over his life.
Also, for his sadness, Ren was a person who believed that he had occult powers inside him and that someday he would "awake" them.
"Onii-chan! Breakfast's ready!
A sound came into his ears. It was a female voice, calling him with a shout.
"I'm on my way, Kuriko!"
That voice belonged to a person named Suzuki Kuriko, Ren's little sister.
She was the opposite of him. Productive and sociable. She knew how to deal with other people.
"What did you cook?"
As Ren arrived at the kitchen, he saw his little sister in her uniform, with an apron over it. She held a frying pan in her hand and looked at him with a displeased face.
Also, her hair was wavy and black.
"Many things. So have your breakfast, fast. Or we're going to get late."
"I know, I know. Relax."
"How should I relax with the possibility of being late on our first day at the new school?"
"Relax..."
"Argh! What are you thinking?"
Ren rapidly finished his breakfast, and the two rushed outside. First, he reached his precious bicycle, and Kuriko sat in an improvised chair-like thing right behind him.
"Let's go!"
"Okay. Here we go!"
They lived in a remote town in Japan. Their parents were not with them because they were traveling around the world on a "romantic trip to remember the old days."
"Which is the right way?" Ren questioned Kuriko while driving the bike.
"Turn on left and then go straight ahead."
"Let me see...left?"
As mentioned earlier, Ren had nothing out of regular, aside from his body. He had trained his own body with the thought of "awakening" his occult powers. That resulted in a physical strength that did not seem to fit his age. Thus, he could drive his bike really fast, even with two people on it.
"Oh, I can see it! Onii-chan, head this way!"
"What? But that is right! You told me to go left."
"Well, perhaps I was wrong."
"You…"
Ren followed the right path and finally arrived at their school.
"Ah… We're finally here!"
"We almost arrived late, though."
"Almost! But we didn't."
"Well, I guess you're right."
They forgot what had happened and slowly approached the building's gate. With short steps, they entered the school…
