Revenge Purposes

With their new fit handed to them, the three were officially members of the Umbra Knights now. Leon and Damian stared at each other in an innocent and hopeful manner.

"This is going to be the start of our vengeance against the Lunaseekers, Damian." Leon said with a confident grin. Damian nodded as well.

They continued marching on towards the area they were designated to be in. "So, I am guessing they killed your whole family as well?" Kyro Shin asked them.

"What is it to you?" Leon had an annoyed look on his face. "Relax. I am not trying to mock you, of course. I just know because I have been in that same exact situation. Before I could even remember when I learned to read, my parents were already dead."

Leon's face filled with rage had slowly subsided into sadness. "O-Oh. Sorry, I did not know." Kyro waved his hand as soon as he heard that. "Nah, do not worry about it. I do not even know how they look like." Kyro said.

"But didn't you say you did not want to leave your family?" Damian asked him. Leon remembered that as well. "Hah! You are lying, aren't you?!" the boy was full of energy as he accused Kyro of lying.

"Also no. Yes, I do have a family. They adopted me as an orphan. I heard that they thought I looked really cute as a kid, in all honesty, I still do, but still. I am thankful for them. That is why I did not want to leave home."

"So, is your motivation for joining the Umbra Knights also for revenge purposes, like us?" Damian asked him.

"Not a chance. I only joined for the perks. You know we get monthly salaries now that we are basically one of the most elite knights of Sol, right?" Kyro retorted back. From then on, they accomplished the mission without any difficulty at all. It was quite clear, the three of them were the prodigies of the Umbra Knights.
